Magnetic annealing, low temperature annealing, precipitation hardening

▪ The magnetic annealing is a treatment process for soft magnetic materials (electric engineering ferroferrite and low carbon steel) to reduce the magnetic domain density or coercive force mainly by increasing the grain fineness of the materials.

▪ The purpose of low temperature annealing is to eliminate or reduce the residual stress in Austenite stainless steel after mechanical processing, furthermore, to homogenize material structure and stabilize dimension.

▪ The precipitation hardening is mainly for precipitation hardening stainless steel, beryllium, copper etc. after solid solution treatment. The dispersed strengthening phase (intermetallic compound) is separated out from solid solution through artificial aging method so that the hardness and strength can be improved.

Br: It refers to the magnetic induction density in the iron magnet when the external magnetic field is removed. It is called the residual magnetic induction density,or residual magnetic in short.

Hc: It refers to the capacity of iron magnet to remain magnetic when the external magnetic field is removed. It is called the magnetic domain density  or coercive force. The higher the Hc value is, the more difficult for the magnetic property to disappear during application.
